FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON PENANG “SPREADS A CHEER” CAMPAIGN THIS CHRISTMAS 2014
In lieu with the magic of Christmas with the spirit of loving, sharing and caring, Four Points by Sheraton Penang has recently initiated a “Spread A Cheer” campaign under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) model to give back to the local community. 33 children from the Penang Children’s Protection Society whom had submitted their Christmas Wish List to the resort were invited to the resort to witness the launch of the lighting of the Christmas Wishing Tree.
The children, associates and members of the media gathered by the Christmas tree as the resort’s acting General Manager Fauzy Wahab gave a short speech to launch the meaningful campaign. “Being under the Starwood brand, Four Points believes in caring for the local community. We try to support and give back to the local community in any way that we can,” said Fauzy.
The children then hung their Christmas wishes on the Christmas tree with the help of some of the associates. These wishes will be on display until Christmas Day and everyone is welcomed to contribute their donations via gifts as wished by the children on the wishing card or you can also donate by cash.
