BRITISH LABEL SUPERDRY LANDS IN PENANG
Fans in Penang finally had the long awaiting Superdry Store opened in Gurney Plaza, Penang without having to trundle down to the few outlets in Klang Valley to pick up their favourite apparel. The British lifestyle brand, Superdry, opened its fourth store in Penang, Malaysia, boasting men’s and women’s casual and contemporary apparel plus accessories housed within a fast-paced, eclectic environment.
To mark its presence up north, Superdry on 1 November 2014, played host to a music festival, Superdry The Event @ Hin Bus Depot Art Centre, with over 1,000 local and international fans, dancing to the beats of music played by 3 electrifying DJ acts, namely DJ Xu from Lapsap, Alex Asquared from Deer Society and Ramsey Westwood.
It was followed by the Superdry Autumn Winter 2014 and Spring Summer 2015 collections runway showcase. The outdoor event capped off a perfect evening with partners who made it possible, which included Asahi for the free flow bar and BOSE for the sound.
